We at the “321 – 2021: 1700 Jahre jüdisches Leben in Deutschland” society wish to express our gratitude to everyone who has contributed over the recent weeks and months to demonstrating Jewish life and our history in Germany and to raising new awareness of its great significance in our country. The resonance has been overwhelming!
It is important to us to emphasize that it is not our society alone that has managed to get #2021JLID Year of Celebration trending in nearly all our newspapers, in numerous radio and TV programs, on the homepages of institutions, societies, and communities and across social media!
We are also thrilled at reports from throughout Europe, from America, from Israel, and from many other countries.
The idea of this Year of Celebration is based more on participation than on central direction by our society; our role is one of coordination and communication. But without YOUR ideas and contributions, this Year of Celebration with its reach across the Federal Republic of Germany would not have been possible. And so we say, from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!
